AnyRandomPerson Blog

I continue to research tools and tricks that I’ll need to give this blog and website some wings.

The best news is that I have found some websites that are good models. If they are having success with their community projects, maybe I can too. And by “I” I mean “we” if I hear from you…[insert guilt trip here].

random-shirt-imageFinally, for now, I’ve located some businesses that can provide t-shirts and wrist bands. Hopefully, groups out there, like schools, will buy some t-shirts or raise money by selling wrist bands, and update us on their projects, including pics with the random people wearing “I am random” shirts!

Help, if you can, by spreading the word. Again, no money needed. The aim here is to launch and grow for free using networking and connections. And–YOU–are the connection I’m waiting for!

Random Delays

I am still on the project. I am still random. (Even though I have 350 followers on Twitter!)

I’ve figured out how to get the Godaddy ads off the main website (anyrandomperson.com), and that will happen early in February.

Know your power. Own it.

Know your power. Own it.

Getting the wiki going is more challenging. I will need help from very savvy web geeks. Tell everyone: Eric needs nerds!

Until then, I will post some news and events myself to help people see the concept of anyrandomperson better. I think people are afraid that “helping” means money. No way! Shoe string, baby! I’m not looking for contributions of the monetary variety…I want ideas and expertise–FREE stuff, people.

Are you random? Come on, you know you are…

Are You Random?

Welcome to the Any Random Person blog. You can go to our website at www.anyrandomperson.com.

We are in the early stages of development. The website is up, a group is created on Facebook, Twitter has (and will have tweets), and now this blog is here. I am not sure how this will turn out. In a web 2.0 world, who can know? Ideas may come in from all over, and the main idea here is that you–yes you–are just the random person to be the next contributor.

Any random person can make a difference. Any random act, big or small, can change the world. All random acts have ripple effects so you can never really know how important, how extensive an impact your next random act will have.

Forget about other people–wealthy people, connected people, established organizations–any random person will do. Are you random?
